Hi Guys,

What are the documents that we have to submit to prove Work Experience in Canada (Section 10 is the Document Check List IMM 5610). I have the following docs.

1. My permit
2. T4 Tax slip of 2011
3. NOA issued by CRA of 2011
4. Experience letter by my supervisor (mentioing my hours/week, salary till data for last 2 years and number of hours worked)

Is this enough, or I need to submit more. Moreover, we need to provide any docs regarding income of this year (2012)??

FYI: I don't have any pay stub,

1. My permit - CHECK
2. T4 Tax slip of 2011 - CHECK; Also, submit T4 of 2010
3. NOA issued by CRA of 2011- CHECK; Also, submit NOA of 2010 if available
4. Experience letter by my supervisor (mentioing my hours/week, salary till data for last 2 years and number of hours worked) - Letter should be on your organizations letter head, signed by an officer they can get in touch to validate (verification varies from case to case)

You can go-ahead with existing documentation and submit other documents when requested by CIC

Good Catch ujbaby! :)

Thanks madinxs and ujbaby.

Yea that letter has my position, hours per week that I work, annual income and the number of hours or weeks worked in 2010(from the day I started till Dec 31), 2011 and 2012(till date), my duties and recommendation to the immigration officer for my PR application.

Now for 2010 and 2011 I have my T4 but for 2012 there is nothing to support my income mentioned in the reference letter (my salary gets directly deposited in my bank a/c and no paper work).

Thanks for your reply, .... just wanted to check what other have done. I will go with what ever I have now and will send them T4 of 2012 if they request me anything.

To be eligible under CEC, you need 2 years of work experience; so, T4 and NOA's of 2010 and 2011 is a good support documentation. I am positive they wont request for a T4 of 2012

Just went to the bank to find out that the Draft is NOT CASHED yet! The waiting kills! ::)

Hey guys,

My application was received yesterday by the intake office.

What sort of timeline are you guys expecting (I'm hoping for 7 months total :P ) ?
Most people that applied in August (from the august thread) received their AOR in less than a month. Is that considered fast ? What does receiving the AOR indicate ?

Thanks.

I came across a member of this forum who got PR in just 4 months.
He filed the application by the end of Sep (Sep 2011) and got everything cleared by the mid of January (Jan 2012)
But I guess it's a rare one and might happen one in 1000 cases.

It was a perfect time in Sep-2011 where most cases were processed within 4 to 8 months; Buffalo office closed and cases were transferred to CPP-O

The December 2011 thread shows most people getting PR status in 6~8 months.
Isn't 7 or 8 months a reasonable expectation for us as well ?

To my knowledge, the average processing time is around 288 days for ~90% cases applied from Sep-2011 to Till date

Looking at the current trend (aug/Sep applicants). Its taking avg. 10 days for the payment from the "application received" date and another 10 days for the AOR.

@SIN0319 & @Madinxs : Looking at the dates in the above table, any update on your payments? have they taken your fees?

@Others: Has anyone else submitted?

lets keep the above table updated.

thanks
