You have to provide originals.
Just wondering, are you a single applicant or have dependents? Looks like singles go way faster...

Guys,

2 small questions:

Is PCC valid for a year or only 6 months? Is there a possibility to get a request from CIC to provide another PCC if it was taken within a year?

Secondly, approx how many days it takes normally to do landing from the day Medical Request is received?

3 months before application submission and a year after submission (from the date of issuance of PCC)

Secondly, approx how many days it takes normally to do landing from the day Medical Request is received?

No fixed number of days .. but usually within 2.5 months (There few cases where applicants waited for 6 months or more after medical, may be some 2012-Feb applicant). I recommend you to check various thread in this forum form 2011 and 2012 to get an idea

I ordered GCMS note and noticed that they registered different NOC. from the one I mentioned, in my case. I emailed CPP-O yesterday to correct their mistake. I got reply as below today from them,

A note has been made in your file with regards to the below email.

Nothing has started for me ... criminality, eligibility, security, medical are not started and due on 19/11/2013 (exactly a year from date of AoR). However, for "RCMP Screening" status is "No Reportable Trace".

There are a lot of info (about 24 pages) which I think is garbage.

I had initially applied by myself and then added my spouse in early April (got married in January). I guess my file will be delayed due to addition of my spouse!

Lets hope everyone gets MR soon!
