Sent additional docs to embassy, how can I see the update?

Hi guys!

I decided to send two additional documents to my pending student visa application and raised a web form. I received a manual response from the embassy which asked me to send the docs by email. I sent them right away and I asked them to confirm the reception. This happened two days ago.

My question is the following: I still do not see any update on my gc page regarding the documents so I am not sure if they have been manually updated to my pending application. Should I ask them again or it should be fine?

If they'll need you to re-upload they'll contact you. Give it some time before contacting them. They're not responding as promptly as before due to current circumstances.

But are the docs to be seen in the gckey or will they be visible only for the officers?

The only documents visible in your GC Key account are the ones you upload through them (even additional documents requested by IRCC after completing your application) or the correspondences you receive from IRCC. As per my knowledge, manually sent documents won't reflect there.

When they upload the documents to my case, will I receive a ghost update cos they update documents, or nothing?

Don't be sorry. And yes that is what I've seen in a few cases on this forum. Webform queries are usually followed by a ghost update.

Then it means that the docs have not been yet uploaded.
On monday or tuesday I will send another email with my complete details..

The thing is I already sent them via email more than a week ago but there has been no ghost update. And the time for visa decision is nearing so I was thinking of resending to remind.

I am just worried that I will piss them off sending too many emails and get again a rejection

I sent over an email then they send it back on the same mail line request more documents
