Sending Updated Employment reference letter

Hello Everyone,

Can someone please advise if it will be ok to send the updated reference letter? I already provided a letter with my application but the updated letter has following changes:

1) My old letter had an assignment start and end date. But my assignment end date got extended and so the update letter has the new end date.
2) Old letter didn't have working hours and i provided salary slips for working hours. The new letter has working hours.
3) Old letter had my designation (Not very sure if VO will be able to map it to NOC easily even though it is very much related to NOC) only and nothing related to NOC. But the new letter also has My Role in Canada which is very close to NOC.

So please advise if CIC wont be suspicious about why I am sending a new Reference letter.

Better you send the latest reference letter and explain in the email why your sending the latest letter. I sent updated reference to CPP-O later

Hi LPS,

It is because of the three reasons I listed in my original post. Assignment end date in Canada has changed and there are a couple more which you can see above.
So just thinking if i should let them know about it.

I would say their is no problem in sending updated reference letter but also send an explanation letter explaining why are you sending updated reference letter.
