Hi,

My PR card has been issued and its currently at my relatives's place in Canada. However I have to travel to Mexico for my work before the PR card was issued. Can my Relatives mail the card through FEDEX or UPS to Mexico to my current address?. Will there be any legal obligations for this ? Can the card be confiscated by Canadian Border Security?

Please let me know

You can send it. No ramifications. The only issue would be if it got lost in transit, you would need to apply for a PRTD.

Hey,

Which courier did you use? I'm in the same boat and was thinking about using Canada Post Xpress worldwide option

Thanks!

Hi

1/ It really doesn't matter which courier you use, as long it delivers to the US.
Is it safe?
People say it is illegal to send PR Card through courier. I was planning on using FedEx, confused now.
Please suggest

Hi,

Apologies for late response. We are yet to travel to Canada. I hope everything goes well. I am nervous.
Have you travelled?
Hi Did you travel back using those mailed PR cards without any issue? Please confirm.
Also, what courier service was used back then. Appreciate your help in advance

My PR cards were mailed using ups from Canada to the US, and I used the cards to travel to Canada. I live here now with no issues.

Hello did you use UPS Mailbox address for PR card delivery? Or you just used their courier services?

Just used their courier service and got it delivered to my home (at that time) in the US.
