Send updated reference letter

Hi all,

If anyone had sent reference letter without job details and hours worked with application and later sent updated ref letter with these details, kindly share your experience if it helped further your application and receive MR and PPR. Most posts I have read ask not to submitted updated letter as it might complicate the PR process and might end up in rejection. Please share positive experience of submitting updated letter. Thanks for your help and guidance in advance!!

If u read it carefully forum says that people who send updated references got MR
As long as you are not adding more exp

Hi i sent them an explanation letter ..
Saying that my duties do match and the ones which
Were not i added those and attached the original letter.
I did not send them an updated letter coz
It might misrepresent my case...
I just got my finger print request so lets see what happens

2 of my friends got the PR after submitting the Updated reference letter .
It should be ok you have to send a cover letter explaining the reason.

Can we send the updated reference letter with the AOR number? Will that be acceptable?
or Do I need to wait for the CIC request? This will happen while processing the application after few months and by that time this letter will be more than 6 months old..Please guide me...

CIC 95% will not request Reference letter and they will Reject directly if something is missing.

If you have updated Letter just send an email with you updated letter and AOR to update it to your application.

Last year my case was rejected because of missing role and responsibiklities in the reference letter.

Hello,

I am a august 2013 application. Actually I have already sent an employer letter with my application and I also got my AOR. Do I need to send my updated employer letter again? If yes than what should I update in my letter ? (Duties match 9 out of 13 from previous reference letter,date of letter issued )
