Hi. Married a girl in Cambodia and ready, I think, to send my kit in. I was just wondering what kind of 'kit' I should send it in.

Does this sound right...?

1 extra-large shipping envelope containing other large and labelled envelopes.
My (sponsors) papers all in 1 large envelope.
My wifes (applicant) papers all in 1 large envelope.
Cerificates and forms of mine(work records, tax forms..etc) in another large envelope.
Her certificates and forms (police reports, birth certificate, marriage certificate, medical cert...etc) in another large envelope.
All of our evidence of a relationship in another.
All as neatly done and compartmentalized as I can.

Does this sound right? What others have done?

Thanks for any input.

I just put everything in one big envelope in order as per the checklist. But i did use paperclips to hold certain forms and docs together. I put photographs in small envelopes so they werent all loose.
Hope that helps.

That does help. Thanks pinklady. :)

I did exactly what you did, Hello.
:)

EDIT: Mine was a box though.

A box. Good idea. Thanks.

I had a big envelope, in there one envelope for the sponsorship and PR applications with all the attachments (pages that belong together got a staple) and one envelope for the open work permit application (but that's only for inland applications).

Since we're applying from Québec, we have less forms and proof to send, that's why everything fitted in a regular letter sized envelope.

I'm just in proces, so I can't say yet if it was good or not. ::)
