Self Employer program in 9 to 10 months

Hello, I am Carlos from Peru, I am trying to apply to the Canada Visa under the Self Employer program as a digital designer (artist). Does anyone know about the prossesing times? I heart that some people did it in only 9-10 months, could that be possible? Anyone have some experiece? Thank you in advance.

2. One of the hardest categories to qualify under.

Self-employed person means a foreign national who:

• has relevant experience
• intends and is able to be self-employed in Canada and
• can contribute to Canada’s economy in one of the required areas.

Relevant experience for a self-employed person means at least two years of experience.

It must be during the period starting five years before the day you apply and ending on the day we make a decision on your application. The experience must be:

• for cultural activities:
  1. two one-year periods being self-employed in cultural activities, or
  2. two one-year periods participating at a world-class level in cultural activities, or
  3. a combination of a one-year period described in A above, and a one-year period described in B above.

LOL, thank you for your reply, but actually I have read (the official website information) more than a 100 times now. However I also know that there are some people that have reach the whole process done under 12 months despite the period established in the government website.


I do not think this is one of the hardest categories. Let's have a look to this link:
