Self-Employed - Graphic Designer (5241)

Don't lose hope buddy, every case is different.

I don;t think there is an issue my capability of supporting myself and my family in Canada as I provided all the evidence.
The objection is if I am self-employed in the UK because I built my case around that.
I will be fighting on that point if I went forward with the appeal. I'll post an update here if I went through with it.

why are you debating whether or not to go forward with an appeal? Considering everything you have said here you have a strong case. If like you’ve said you have been self employed and have sufficient evidence (company records, invoices, reference etc) to prove it why will the visa officer tell you otherwise and you actually consider letting it go?

This news breaks my heart. We are really uncertain what the results maybe, our faith is now up to the visa officers hand. Ours, based from the timeline we gotta wait for another 15 months before the confirmation comes out. We shall wait and see what will it be.. A positive result or not.

"PA did not provide any detailed information, plans or documents to support his intention or ability to become self-employed in Canada. I do not believe PA has the intention and ability to be self-employed once in Canada."

Include business plan in your application, or if you have already applied send business plan separately to be included when the application is reviewed apparently they are bitchy about it and wouldn't ask for it at a later stage.

Pointless to pursue further, caseworker didn't even go for balance of probability so the intention was to create a reason to reject the application as the rejection is based on caseworkers personal opinion on the application.

Business plan is not required with the initial application, in Schedule 6A there is a room of paragraph where you can explain why you want to go to a particular city in Canada. That is where I explained a summary of the business plan I have. GBWhatsApp

Hello guys. I am a little confused. In this forum, I have hardly seen a successful ratio for a self-employed visa. Do you guys know how many people reached to Canada through this visa?
I am also a Graphic Designer with 18+ years of work experience and have a boutique design agency. I am planning to move to Canada through a Self-employed visa as I am already 41 and have a faded chance for PNP.

There used to be a well broken down annual report like this which had numbers for every category. I can't seem to find it right now but if you search more earnestly than I did I'm sure you can track it down

Document title in Gckey login was procedural failure.

"Before a final decision regarding your eligibility as a self-employed person is made, I am
providing you with the opportunity to provide further evidence of your ability to meet the
definition of a self-employed person, including evidence of your previous ability to earn a self-
sustaining income through self-employment in cultural activities or athletics, and a detailed and
specific plan indicating how you intend to become self-employed in Canada and how your
contribution to cultural activities or athletics would be significant, along with any additional
supporting evidence that you wish to submit"

If Any one can suggest me or help in this regards would be highly appreciated.

I was more involved in web designing then graphics and i used to work full time with one company as freelancer and also used to do random small projects.

These days i am in digital marketing, desgin and setup e-commerce store, desgin marketing campaign etc.

I am not a hardcore graphics designer.

So never summited portfolio.

Thats a big problem because Noc code 5241 its only for graphic designers and illustration, you cant show your web designer skill.. and also you have not submitted your portfolio and there are high chances to get rejection..
