Hello everyone , here is my time line :
applied : jan 2022
AOR : Mar 2022
Biometrics request : july 2024
Biometrics updated : july 2024

and when i search by my application number i find that they start processing my file in 13 jan 2025

and nothing after that !!

is this normal or there an issue ?

& what i can do to follow with IRCC ?

Hi! New member ... wondering if any 2022 applicants have received PAL or Medical requests?

Hi , i applied on April 2022, got my AOR and Biometric request at the same time on September 2024, i did it fast , i received the medical request on Nov 2024 and i passed it quickly , i even received the second Pre-Arrival letter early 2025, but it has been silence since then for 18 months now. this was my detail, hope it helps.

i applied online, and i guess since i have received two PALs one before the medical request one after the routine ADR ( Pcc, Passport Bio , Scheduale A ) i think my eligibility have been already passed, but nothing shown on my portal

yes right ... so from which country you applied as mostly its beacuse of country local quota that they are processing fast or delay. You can apply for gcms notes to check where is your file stuck and what is the reason.

I am from the middle of the middle east despite i have not served in military organizations nor Governmental jobs, i guess my nationality triggered my case for comprehensive security screening, and based on the data i have read online it takes 18 to 24 month for my demographic to complete the security. i am 49 months in the process and it has been devastating. hope it will be finished soon , i can't go for few extra months

i just hope that you get passport request soon. Seriously IRCC is just making things miserable. i have passed 58 months and only received AOR and ADR and nothing after that. so i dont know may be its beacuse of the lack of management in IRCC or they are not prioritizing this category seriously.

I understand, it is very difficult to handle this. I guess one important thing is it is better to know the wotk trend of your local visa office, apparently you are in india and all the indian applications are processed inside india, my case has been processed by Warsaw VO.
Have you got medical request ? Have you done it and passed it ? Also it depends on what kind of ADR they requested from you. And actually i guess you need to count the days after you submitted thr ADR to max 24 month. Have you received PAL ? And if yes, one or two ?

I just receieved AOR and ADR in March 2024.

i mean you should find out how the Local office for indian applicants behave in order to process their applications, i assume that they wanted to send your file for security check and before that they wanted to make sure that your police certificate is clean and also your travel history is complete for the intelligence agencies to check deeply. after you get cleared then they ask for your Medicals so they make sure you are admissible to Canada. i guess this long time is either because you have visited different countries which makes it time consuming for CSIS to check your criminal records in them or working for goverment or have served in military organizations, these things adds up to the processing time, i have none of the above and i am already in the security for 18 months. another reason can be the higher number of indian applicants than any other countries. i think you should now wait for either the PAL or any Medical requests first.

Yes I’m actually waiting for any update so let’s hope for the best. Do inform here if you get any update and I will too inform here.
