just out of curiosity, How did you get the court to send a settlement offer? on what grounds? did you request it in the appeal? or the opponent approached first?

If you don't mind me asking, it might be a bit personal.

The settlement offer was initiated by the Department of Justice after my judicial review application was filed. I did not request it directly; they approached first.

My file is stuck and i haven't received any meaningful update from IRCC.
I submitted a complete application for Permanent Residence under the Self-Employed Federal Program, which was received by IRCC on June 15, 2020.
IRCC did not acknowledge receipt of my application until September 12, 2023.
As of May'25, only the criminality check has been completed.
No progress has been made on the eligibility, medical, or security assessments.

I have made numerous attempts to follow up with IRCC including: Webform submissions, Phone calls but got no update.
