seeking admission in Canadian university for masters

Hi all,

My ielts score is 6.5 overall (7R, 7L, 5.5w, 5.5S).
I want to pursue masters in computer science in Canadian university


Am i eligible to apply for masters with this ielts score.


I have done bachelor's degree in computer science with 83.5 and +2 from CBSE with 77.6.

Assist me i want to apply in September intake.

Ok thanks!!! But I'm lacking in writing and speaking section of ielts. That's why I'm quite aflutter whether any university will provide me admission or not on overall ielts basis!!

Most Canadian universities require 6.5 in each of the English skills. Repeat IELTS.

Yeah advice u the same go for repeat for ielts if possible,,,

Your IELTS score is too low to be accepted by any decent university. If you are accepted by a bad university, CIC may very well refused your study permit. Take IELTS again and score at leat 6.5 in each category.

But many universities require, minimum ielts score 5 in each section like in mac master university! They require min 5 bands in each section! So I'm confused again whether I'll apply there or not!! If i ll go for re-examination of ielts, I won't get dates till March! If later I'll give exam perhaps I won't meet deadlines for September intake..
So what should I do in this case?

September have still excess time......don't worry,, go for repeat.....and if you really don't want to give ielts again ,, research online may be u find any option but university required 6 each most of them,, may be u find any suitable for you....

I think s/he means re-evaluation of her IELTS Scores.
