Applied for a masters programme at Uwindsor last month, was rejected today. Reason was a low academic score, looking for alternatives and welcome suggestions on programmes I might qualify for. Need computer science or engineering management programmes eligible for PGWP, also need to bring my spouse on my visa

You have a low CPGA so this will not change if you reapply with another LOA in another Masters program. Maybe focus on a research based Masters with support from a tenured professor. Need to research schools and contact professors where your research areas align. Shows you have staff support. Or you do another degree if you want spouse to come. If spouse doesn’t come the look at post grad diplomas.

I can bring a spouse when I apply for an undergraduate degree?

Oh

I have a Mechanical engineering degree and would like to do a second degree in computer science or an IT related course.
Need to do. B.eng (read link). And you have that. Canada is not a good option in Comp sci and IT. Industry is dead. So many out of work. Look at Europe.

Realistically if U of Windsor refuses you it is fairly likely that all Canadian public universities will likely refuse you. Even if you get accepted to a school there is a good chance IRCC would deny the visa because of your GPA.

Agree. UW is a low tier school. He got into UW with a 2.67 average but permit was refused for low grades.

The intent expressed in OPs first post is to immigrate not study. They are working backwards to find a program which might accept not necessarily which they are interested in.
