Hi there, I’m an international student enrolled for a 1-year MA in Education in the UK starting September 2026, I am a Special Education/SEND teacher. I plan to start a PhD in Canada.
1. Timeline: When should I apply for PhDs during a 1-yr Masters? When should I contact supervisors?
2. Funding: What stipends/scholarships exist for intl students in who wish to pursue field of Special Education?
3. PR: What’s the route from Student → PhD → Skilled Worker → ILR, and can dependents stay with me during PhD?
