yes I did even with a job offer letter i reached 419 points which is not enough. The cutoff point is 445

Regardless, an asylum claim, IMO, is not your pathway to PR. Asylum is a long, arduous path full of uncertainties and in your case will almost certainly result in a refusal. It's your call

It all depends on your savings. If you have savings you are expected to use those. Work permit is to try to get people to work so that they no longer qualify for welfare.

I'll have savings enough for 3-4 months. Also im willing to work pay all my expenses and not be burden on welfare. So again when is the soonest i can get a work permit ?
