Second AOR ??

I have sent my full application couple of weeks ago to London.

Any idea, when should I expect the second AOR ?

The discussion is about 2nd AOR not first. You are waiting for 1st AOR which will come 2-3 months

Courier tracking shows the full application was delivered on 7th May...

I guess still time for me for second AOR then...?

Hi

London CHC is actually quite fast in issuing the 2nd acknowledgement of receipt (and the new file number). In my case, my complete application was delivered to them on the 1st of February, and they issued an AOR on the 4th. The case processing status changed almost immediately, sometime during the following week.

I think you could e-mail them and ask if they received the package. That way, you actually ask for an acknowledgement.

I wrote to london office via email form on CIC website.

On submission it says they will respond within "28" days!

I guess the only way to figure this out is to "wait" for AOR or application return for some reason!

i sent my full docs. on 01march 2010 and then received an email fromdamascus visa office on 03march2010 with a new file no.
it seems that the mention date would be my second AOR,for more qualification i would like to share part of email content,
Dear Madam/Sir, This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada which was received at this office.

We have created a file with the file number pasted above. You must quote this file number in any future correspondence. A receipt for application fees submitted is also enclosed.
You may be aware that the Parliament of Canada has enacted amendments to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA). These amendments permit the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration, and Multiculturalism to give instructions to officers regarding the processing of certain types of applications filed on or after February 27, 2008.

anyway you are kindly requested to inform me if it is considered as my AOR or not?

The Minister issued Instructions pursuant to these amendments on November 28, 2008. These Instructions affect Federal Skilled Worker applications received on or after February 27, 2008. Your Federal Skilled Worker application was received on or after this date. As a result, your application will be reviewed to determine whether it meets the requirements for processing as outlined in the Minister’s Instructions.
