Got our invitation for oath yesterday. Finally the wait is over. I think Scarborough office is now processing the March test takers files. Aramis congratulations to you. Hope to meet you on the ceremony as our ceremony is on the same day same time on the same place. Harnit I'm literally praying for you buddy. Hope you too will get the good news very soon.

Just wanted to share my dad's time line:

Application Received:April 2013
Application returned for missing document:July 2013
New application Received July 2013
In Process: September 26,2013
Test/Interview:October 15, 2015 in Scarborough Office
Decision Made: November 19, 2015
Oath: December 7, 2015

NOTE:His application was lost for 2years. We called CIC in April 2015 ,they found his file in Sydney.Basically his processing time was started from May 2015.

We sent you a notice on November 19, 2015 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on December 7, 2015 at 10:30 AM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment.

I have not received the physical letter yet. I'm hoping it'll come in today or tomorrow.

Looks like they are focusing on old applications 2013-2014 which is great and now around Sept 20s too. It's good to see that it's moving. Hopefully I'll hear from them within 2-4weeks from now.

I checked every day! and in the past two weeks more than once per day cause i was getting impatient. My status changed on Saturday! I hope you received your soon too

Yes, I did. My due date for oath was 12/01/2015. So we received the oath just before that due date. Your application is stuck at the secondory office. Do you see your RCMP/Security clearance on your ATIP. Are those still in process? Have CIC sent a reminder notice to Scarborough for you? You can request that after 6 months of your test.

Yes. It looks like the file is stuck in secondary office. It looks like the Security and RCMP clearance is done but it is waiting on Eligibility - Knowledge. I submitted my Masters and Bachelors certifications which were in English. Not sure what else they want to clarify. CIC sent the reminder notice to Scarborough in September I guess. The problem with that is you need to wait 3 months for the response. What a lame system.

Is there any way to contact CPC Sydney directly?
