Do we need to notarize those documents that are indicated as "copies" as per IRCC checklist (i.e. birth & marriage certificates, passports, ielts)? If yes, how did you do it in UAE?

I don't think a notary public will do it in Oman without an attestation from our embassy, which is too costly as those are charged per document.
