Actually we called the visa office in SP today and all is good!

What service do you recommend sending the passport (DHL, Fedex?) we are in canada now, and would like to send a prepaid return envelope. The only thing is, what if the weight is different on the way back? Does anyone have experience with this?

I sent a pre paid UPS envelope.
It's all good! They will only put your passporte and a couple of papers.

My e-CAS status changed to "In Process" today.
They started processing my application on March 24, 2014!

Congrats! Give it anywhere from a couple days to a couple of weeks and they'll be asking for the passport!

Where did you put it? And also, this checklist lists documents in a slightly different order than the sponsor checklist.

"In Process": March 24, 2014 (that's when they started processing my documents, but they changed the status on March 26, 2014.
Medical results received by CIC update: around February 7, 2014
Destination in Canada: Saskatoon.

Thank you! And I'm thankful for being 'eligible', I honestly was expecting at least one "doc request" before "In Process", but I was wondering how long they're taking to mail the passport back now.
