Hi Seniors

I have paid RPRF fees with my credit card for my friend. But After Filling the Payment details , The receipt is showing my name as I have to fill my details while filling the credit card details.

I too already have an application and expecting MR and eventually RPRF .

I hope CIC wont mind if any other person pays the fees , Will it create any issue for me ?

No Issue, just need to manually correct the details on the receipt and send it across. Just make sure that you quoted the correct UCI/File number while paying the fees.

I wouldn't take a chance. Mention his name and details on the PDF and send it across.

This seems to be a new thing CIC are doing... as recently as three months ago (when I paid RPRF) the payer's name was not printed on receipts - just the account (e.g. "VISA $490.00"), the card number (e.g. 45##########0000), the receipt number, and the date. Is the payer's name included in there now?

The question was, where exactly does your name appear?

This is a point of interest because CIC have apparently added this information to receipts quite recently.

If it's just in the payment details, then that's probably fine, CIC aren't going to care who paid the fee. When your friend emails the receipt to the cost recovery address, he should include information that identifies his case:

- Surname (Last name) - Exactly as it appears on passport or identity document;
- Given name(s) (First name) - Exactly as it appears on passport or identity document;
- Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD);
- Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number / Client ID number; and
- Application number (V#, F#, EP#, E#, B#).

If he wants, he can also write his details in the blank fields provided on the receipt for that purpose (assuming they haven't changed that, too).
