Got the passport today with the VISA. From start to finish nearly 8 months.
Booked the flight and next week will be in Canada.

Rome VO sent a mail when the passport was ready for pick up.

You mentioned you called them a couple times, that's why I asked. I got the same email also and am trying to find out if the have sent the COPR back to me as requested. They don't seem to respond to emails so much

You have to write "Urgent" on the subject. On the Imail. Thats the only way they will respond you. They respond me today saing that they will post my doc on this weak , bcs i was notifyed that my pass was going to be here this Monday but I think they missed it. So i write to them and thats was the answer. So lets hope.

Yes i did. I got my passport today, along with the other documents in the envelope.
I called them a couple of times before getting confirmation that the passport was sent.
So you should give them a call , maybe today. If the 7 days end until Friday, call them
and make sure that the passport will be picked up even if the 7 days pass.

Sepse mesa duket e kishin harruar kete jave qe supozohej te vinte. Mendon se duhet te rri e qete. Si ke komunikuar ti nepermjet telefonit me ta. Sepse ne nr qe kan ne faqen zyrtare te tyne un e kam provuar dhe vetem degjohet nje mesazh i rregjistruar , kam qendruar per 45 min ne telefon vetem duke degjuar dhe duke marre informacion por asnjehere nuk ka opsion per te folur me nje operator, person fizik dmth. Si keni vepruar juve ju lutem

You should call the courier and not the embassy. If the courier failed to pick-up
than you should notify the embassy.
It need 10-12 days for delivery.

BG Not Started ------> In Progress
BG In progress ------> No needed/Not Applicable
BG No Need ------> In progress.
The same for me and some others so don't worry
