Right time to apply for federal skilled category?

Hi I am John and I am from India and I work in the United States. I intend to apply for federal skilled catergory under Microbiologist. I have only started the process of gathering documents like police verification etc.Looks like, by the time I am in a shape apply, it will be around October Since,there is a limit of 1000 each year, I was wondering if October will be too late to apply for this year's quota. Kindly advice.

Hi John I am from Australia I am also collecting paperwork... I am Social Worker I might be able to put in end of september...Anyways if the categories are filled we can use the IELTS next year ;-)

The best we can do is try...remember others will be in same situation like us.

John Oct may be late. Best is you apply at the earliest, if not possible to apply befor oct then apply in Oct. If your app is rejected because of quota constraint send your app again at end of June so that it reaches in first week of July

hi, and what documents do I need tosent to Nova scotia.. Do I need to sent police verification etc to Nova scotia as well? Or can I just do all the immigration forms and also english language test results to npova scotia..?
