Returning to Canada with Expired PR Card

Hello Guys,

I am a british Citizen with a valid passport.
I have a PR card but just noticed it expired in 2011 :-[

I have a trip on june 11-16 and am wondering what i can do to re-enter Canada.
I have applied for the Urgent renewal with proof of travel included but do not see my application when i search for it online at CIC.

I am afraid i won't get my PR card in time for the trip so wanted to know what other options i have?

I have my old PR card my original Landed immigrant documents as well as proof of my PR renewal(receipt) and have met the PR obligations as i have lived in canada for over 20 years and have not left the country in the last 5 years.

My trip will be made by flight and i have the ESTRA document to allow me into USA but i am worried they won't let me board the plane on my return to canada without a PR card.

What are my options at this point?

Keep your ticket and boarding card from the trip leaving Canada so when you come back, if they ask you when you left Canada, you can prove it. Your passport with no stamps from the past 5 years should also help.
