All,

I got PR VISA's this monday and I was planning to post my resume at:

http://www.workopolis.com/

Currently I'm in US and I was wondering what shall I mention in my resume to let possible employers know my canadian immigration status.

Shall I just mention "Permanent Resident" or shall I mention that PR VISA Received. Also is it ok to apply for job before entering Canada ?

Any help in this matter will be appreciated

regards
slm

I would put "Permanent Resident" so you don't scare would be interested employers off by thinking you would need a work visa. The people I talk to everyday at work do not know the term PR. Hope that helps and good luck.
