    You still need US VISA to enter US and a valid H1B work permit to work in US even after you get your canadian PR. After you receive your Canadian PR you can continue working in US if you have valid H1B but to retain your PR you should meet 2 out-of 5 years stay in Canada criteria. slm

    Rav, When you say you are planning to take test either this weekend or next weekend, what does it mean ? I think if you are in US you have to register for the examination and believe me there is a waiting list for this examination and you will end up getting a date after 2 months. So act fast...
