Bump. Any help appreciated. :)
I m in canada and cic received my photos on 5th Aug. I called them yesterday and they told me that they don't write notes for receiving photos. She told me to call back later as most probably they even didn't open envelope. Also told me that wait for even few more months as no time frame for rejected photos pr. Quite disappointed

Finally received my pr card . End of wait thank god . :P . Advise to forum ppl to send photos with tracking then u might receive in 45 days at most or if it's taking longer do a case specific Enquiry then u ll get to know if there is any thing which delay ur pr card . All the best

Hi
Finally I got my all pr cards.
Landed 19th june with a family of 4.
Got 2 pr cards on 2nd Aug and got to know about photo requests of remaining 2 on enquiry by phone.Got email for my photo request on 2nd Aug. My pics reached cic on 5th Aug(forgot to include letter but my details were mentioned on envelope) and my son's reached on 8th Aug (as they told later about my son's pic request on further enquiry by phone.Actual request reached by mail on 12th Aug due to lack of email address of our son)
Got my pr card on 23rd and for my son on 25th August
My advice to every1 is to call cic after the time frame for pr card production reached and follow up them with calls until you get your pr cards as they are really slow most of the time to send photo requests if any error in them and waste lots of time
Good luck to everyone

Hi,

I am in the same boat. Me and my wife are in canada. I recieved my PR card on time but they have requested photos for my wife.
But my question is that , I have moved from my old house and now i have a new address .Do you think i have to intimate the change of address for mailing a PR card as well ? Or is it fine if i give a different Address for CIC to return.

Thanks for any help.Much Appreciated

Regards,
Bharat

Hello,

What's the current processing time after CIC receives new photos?

I got a request (via email) from CIC requesting for new photos on 25-Aug-2016.

Sent the same via CP xpress to Case Processing Center - Permanent Resident Card, PO Box 4500 – PRC Mailroom, Sydney, Nova Scotia B1P 6L1

The courier reached on 31-Aug and was signed (D Lewis).

When can I expect something? Please help!

Thanks,
H

please suggest if there is any way to check the updated status for my PR card
