Renewing PR online - Date you became a PR in Canada

Hello,

I'm applying to renew PR via online. On my PR card, I became a PR on Dec 28, 2018 and expires on Feb 7, 2024

When I'm trying to fill out 5. Residency obligation(time spent outside Canada), it shows the following error
**Please review the date you entered in response to “1.4 Date you became a PR in Canada” on page 1 of this form. This date must be accurate before proceeding with the rest of the form**

I entered Dec 28, 2018 (on my PR card) in 1.4 field and "from date" for 4.1 address history / 4.2 work history. from 2018-12-28 to 2019-05-11 / from 2019-05-11 to 2023-11-28

Not sure what/where I should change the info.

I have just had the same appear on my online application just now:

"Please review the date you entered in response to “1.4 Date you became a PR in Canada” on page 1 of this form. This date must be accurate before proceeding with the rest of the form."

I've entered the date on my PR card, gone back and checked it on the application too.

My date is 22/04/2010 and I've entered all my work/living dates back to pre-December 2018.

So, that's two of us.

It is the date that you became a PR, NOT the date that your PR Card was issued. These are two different dates.

Look at your original landing document (CoPR) and see what that shows.

Or...it's yet another glitch with the online application.

Mine is definitely my PR date, from 2010, on my PR card. System glitch then.

Problem solved.

It crossed my mind that this could simply be a case of "BTW, make sure that you have calculated your dates", rather than "the system has detected an error", which is what the symbol looks like.

So I entered my dates of being away and sure enough I have been given the option to save and continue.

I should calculate the date of living/work/travel again. I put the date from 5 years from the current date (from Nov 28, 3018 to Nov 29, 2023).

Thank you! The date on CoPR is same as on the PR card. I should try to update the date of living/work/travel again.
