Renewed Passport - Do I need to inform IRCC/CIC (Citizen Application has been filed)

Hello Experts,

I applied for my citizenship in May, 2021 and because I have to travel to home country, I had to renew my passport.
Finally, I received my passport, do I need to update IRCC/CIC about this?

If yes, is it do be done through a webform? Please advice.

AFAIK, no need to inform them about your new passport. IRCC is interested in only the passports you held during the eligibility period.

No need to update.
They might ask you for your passport copies that you held during your eligibility period at a later stage of the application
