Hello everyone,

I had been accessing my application status online (on ECAS) since the Nairobi Visa Office received the file. As of last week, however, whenever I try see if there is any change to the status, the online system says, "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided". What does this mean and whom to ask for the problem. I am highly frustrated with this application process. Anyone who has ever encountered the same problem...please don't hesitate, your answer is vital.

Hi,
Dont worry about the sudden disappearance of your ECAS. It had happened to me too some time in July but after a while i was able to see my status.
So i think its a temporary problem in their system that should not worry you atall. Just be patient, all will be ok.
Any update from Nairobi VO?? Its been silent since September incident.
All the best as we wait for this this to end.

Dear Rose13,

thank you for your quick reply. Again, I have two questions to ask you. (1) I want to know whether the problem is specific for a particular person or whether it is general from the system for all applicants? (2) I also want to know what happened to your new ECAS: i.e. has your status been changed or remained the same after the new ECAS appeared? I am looking forward to hearing good news. And also anyone who got new information on this regard...please contribute.

Stay blessed

Birth Certificate?

Hey friends,

one year has elapsed since our application through Nairobi Visa office. I wrote an email message to the VO in June 2013 stating that we got a child six months ago. But they replied to my email a letter stating our application is still on queue and an interview is needed. They also wrote "Our office should be notified the change in address and family composition". What does this mean and do we need to send them his birth certificate?

Anyone who knows about that...please let me know.

Are you sure you are entering in the information correctly? I have gotten than message when I was typing in the wrong info to access eCAS.

Also I notice sometimes you need a dash in the UCI number, and sometimes you don't. try it with and without the dash in the middle

Dear Samilegama,

I am sorry for the delay; I am also in the same situation. It’s been 1 year and 2 months that I have my application with the Nairobi CHC. They are very slow in everything. They should have sent you an email long time so that you can be prepared for the interview.

after they send the application to apllicants country they change the Client ID number so, you have to check whether you also had the same problem .
but sometimes when they are on constructions they show that msg. so dont worry, it'll be solved very soon
Good Luck....!!!!

Hi Rose 13,

so how much weeks and/or days it took for your new E-CAS to reappear? Has you the status of your new E-CAS been changed or it remained the same? Many thanks,
