I know for home ties, one can provide an affidavit of return to home country, but I'm not sure if CHC can use it later on to cause issues with your PGWP/PR application based on this Affidavit. Senior members please comments and share your thoughts?
Affidavit and Oath not made in Canada cannot be enforced in Canada. It is of no use submitting an affidavit to strengthen the application.

That's even worse than I thought, for a student not to even attend their program is completely wrong. To be honest, until I read this forum, I didn't even think someone could be rejected a sp on the basis of possibly not leaving the country. So which countries are you referring to? And I guess the vo takes into account the country of the applicant before making a decision.

Afghanistan, Pakistan and in general most African countries.

No need to mention countries. Everyone kind of knows it and is not limited to just one or two.

I think VO, makes judgement based on historical data of any country. For e.g. how many students from a specific country Applied for SP, how many completed their program. How many received PGWP and how many returned back after the completion of their status. In short, how many are abiding the rules. That is why we can hear the rejection of a specific country is higher vs any other xyz country.

Pakistan has 90% refusal rate for Canada study permit. I would suggest not to reaply and waste your time and money. Apply to another country.

I know someone from Australia applied for a study permit. Submitted application form, bank statement and letter of admission, no sop, study permit got approved in 3 days.

It's light and day compared to some of those other countries that I shall not say what (but you know very well which countries)

IRCC have records of students who enter the Canada and completed their studies and leave on time. You can't really argue with data.

It is strange, I know of another friend who applied and also did his medical but got rejected. Normally, if you are asked to do medical it means that you are on the final steps of being accepted.
