Rejection after second AOR. Discuss

Has anybody noticed a case where the application was cancelled after getting the second AOR? Does receiving the second AOR makes it any more certain that you will receive the PR?

2nd AOR implies that the applicant is eligible for the program they applied under via EE. After clearing this hurdle, you can be rejected only for failing medicals, criminal checks and/or possibly POF requirements.

I had confirmation from clinic that pending x-ray is sent to CIC. The rest of the medicals were done couple of months ago and I have submitted my app on last week of May. (6th draw invitte, in-canada applicant under FSW)..

1. Does CIC have to get any physical copies like x-ray film etc or everything is electronic? Just wondering how long does it take for CIC to review and pass the medicals after clinic does their job. (Mine are e-meds)
2. Once they pass, how long does it take for the second AoR? Apprx timelines per current trend..

Takes less than 2 weeks to pass if you did your medicals close to post ITA submission. Everything is online under eMedical.

2. Once they pass, how long does it take for the second AoR? Apprx timelines per current trend..

Not everyone gets the 2nd AOR - it is more an exception than the rule for now.

Not for ECAS but you do get update mails for MyCIC.

Thankfully yes. But I am still not opening the champagne bottle tonight. Once we get the ppr, then we will together raise a toast.

With CIC, silence is invariably good news. They love communicating only when they have found reasons to reject your application.

I was also referring to the silence in the group on the original query posted. Hopefully, he did not get any responses so far because no one has been rejected after a second AOR. ;D Trying to be a bit hopeful today 8)
