During the statement, it was mentioned that immediate family members of citizens are allowed in to Canada. How about immediate family members of permanent residents? What do you think?

Other than a spouse and child it is unlikely and they should qualify for Canadian health insurance. There are not enough beds for just those who qualify for provincial health coverage.
