One of my immediate family members has applied for refugee status in Canada because the police in her home country are searching for her on religious grounds. I hold a study permit in Canada and did not apply with her because the police were not focusing on me. should be regarded as an independent individual under the law. I would like to know if, under these circumstances, I can travel to Europe during the summer and re-enter Canada without issues.
