refugee - id renewal

Hello i have a little question i applied for refugee lately my passport was taken. the national id of my mother country is expired and i have no other id .
can i renew my national id now or after citizenship grant ? thanks guys

Do not renew your national ID or any form of ID from your old country until after you become a citizen. It could see you losing your status in Canada.

You should receive your refugee ID soon (brown paper)
