This was determined as a less complex case so received faster processing. Those who are not identified as less complex are on a different timeline. Many are waiting around 3 years for a hearing.

Mine got less complex letter after 11 months since apply claim, and I got hearing date after 7 months. Received decision without hearing after two months .

My question is "when less complex or complex determined? after fess clearance or before?"

I filed for asylum in late January, Montreal. Since then I haven’t received any update from the immigration. (Any advise?)

No, it will not. It will affect claims filed after June, 2025 that are not referred to IRB if claimant arrived in Canada after June, 2020.
