Really since April 2024? Have you received disclosure package from integrated claims analysis centre?

However, I received a letter in September 2025 stating they were considering my file for review. After submitting my requested information, they informed me that a regular hearing is required. Since then, there has been no update, and as shown in the notes, my background check is still stuck in process with a Security Screening Type (A34): Comprehensive.

No please you need to call them. This is how I and some friends got hearing. They will pull your record up and add a note to case processing officer. It works.

After I called, things went well, and they said they will notify me of my hearing date soon. thank you bro

I applied here in Alberta back in April,2024 and I don't have any updates yet. I am currently waiting for the background check.

IFA
I think initial application package was not written as properly as it should, i worked together with a good lawyer. I applied to RAD self represented and argued against the first prong of IFA, the RAD member agreed with me and substituted the decision.

check whether have received a Confirmation of Referral and whether your contact information is up to date with both IRCC and the IRB. If you still cannot get a clear answer, consider contacting your local MP’s constituency office for assistance with an inquiry.
