Dear All,

I am in the process of submitting my application under the new program to open in May 2014. I have the following questions for your guidance please based on your prior experience with CIC:

I have been working in my current company for the past 5 years. I have started as a Senior Consultant for two years, then became a supervisor, and then a manager. Through out the different levels, i have been doing the same type of work. However, the responsibility and role is different. For example, at a senior consultant level, i was executing the project while at supervisor and manager levels i am more of supervising, QA and managing.

Do i need to submit a reference letter for each level, or would a generic one covering all levels and mentioning my current responsibilities be sufficient? The type of work will fall under NOC 2171 for all levels. Also, under NOC 2171, its mentioned that this NOC excludes managers and supervisors. Based on this, am i better off obtaining a letter for each level to make sure they count in the years i spent at senior consultant level before i became a manager?

Also, should i specify the different levels in the application from?

I appreciate your help and support on this.

Thank you,
Moe

I would appreciate any help on this. Is including the current title and the number of years with the company along with the responsibilities and duties during all the years sufficient?

in the generic form u'll have to show all the levels, but in the reference letter your current responsibilities should get priority and u can also make a generic one covering all other levels of your job. just make sure they matches the NOC, that's all.

thank you very much.
