Hi Guys,

Is the issued date on the reference letter important?
Is it ok if my employer didnt put the issued date?

I think it means that without a date on reference letter you probably will have a problem.

There should be date mentioned on the reference letter. One applicant got rejected as his letter was without date

Your reference letter must be dated. Generally any document that demands a signature should also have a date on it.

If the letter is for your current job, then the date is particularly important, as this is the final date of work experience that they will count.

If it is a past job, then the date won't affect the calculation of work experience, as the letter will mention both a start and an end date.
