Hi,

hoping someone can help with this.

I got my ITA for pr under CEC. My employer has provided me with the referral letter but it does not include my benefits and job duties as per the company policy.
My colleague or manager do not want to write an unofficial letter as well.

So all together I have the referral letter without the job duties, original offer letter which contains my benefits, the job posting printout for which I applied for my current job (this includes my duties and responsibilities)

would it okay to submit as is and hope for the best or is there anything else I can do
 
This is just me, try adding an explation that it's against company policy to issue such letters and that your teammates or manager are not comfortable in writing an unofficial letter either. If you could also add any correspondences with your HR / Manager that that was the case, even better, plus any company policy saying the same. This is to show that you've exhausted all avenues. You can search in the forum, I'm sure there are similar cases like yours.
 
It's going to be tough. You are leaving everything at the discretion of the officer by submitting a reference letter without the duties. Best case scenario, the officer might decide to contact your company to ask for your duties and responsibilities. Worst case scenario, the officer would just refuse the application as your documentation failed to convince him/her that you really had skilled work experience.

Pay stubs and T4 will complement your reference letter but it still does not address the concerns.

If I were you, I would talk to my employer about the consequences of submitting a letter without proper details and persuade them to make an exception.

I don't quite understand why some employers just make it a pain in the rear.
