Hi guys..I need to get a reference letter for my current position so here's my story:
I signed a 2-year deal with the company whose entity name was say A (Jan 2018 - Dec 2019) but for some (unknown) administrative reasons the company had to dissolved and we (all the employers) had to move and be registered under a new entity B. So physically it's still the same company but we're now registered under a different entity name. This movement from entity A -> entity B was done at the end of 2018, so we resigned from entity A at end 2018 and signed new contract with entity B which was valid from Jan 2019 - Dec 2019. The company opened a lot of branches so, by the end 2019 (October to be precise), we were now registered under a subsidiary for entity B, let's call it branch C. I therefore signed a new contract under the subsidiary branch C
Now I requested via email a reference letter throughout the period Jan 2018 - Dec 2019 i.e 2 years as per the CIC format but I got a refusal. I intend to ask my direct supervisor to provide me a reference letter with all the required information. Here's the list of documents I have so far to prove I've been working there since Jan 2018 (and I'm still working there as I make this post):
- 2 year contract when I joined the company (from Jan 2018 - Dec 2019) whose entity name at the time was A
- The payslips under the entity name A
- The relieving letter when I switched from entity A -> entity B
- The 1 year contract I signed under the entity name B from Jan 2019 - Dec 2019
- The payslips under the entity B
- The 1 year contract I signed under the subsidiary C
- The payslips under the affiliate branch C
- The mails exchanged between me and the HR regarding the refusal to provide me a reference letter as per the CIC format
- The reference letter from my supervisor
What should be the content of my LOE ? Is the list of documents above enough for me to prove my 2 years work experience under the company ?
