Hi guys,

I have a question, hopefully someone could helpme out.My store management team change pretty frequent. I am wondering when the application is forward to CPC, when will they do the reference check based on the reference letter?

Is it gonna be at CPC or a year later when my application is being processed, coz i think my managers could be totally different after a year.

Thanks.

Come on guys. Just need a rough idea, 1 month? 3 months? 1 year? Any experience would be appreciated.

I've never seen it happen at all.
That doesn't mean it won't but I think it's quite unlikely that they will call

This is done on a need to do basis....meaning, agency resources are not spent on determining the legitimacy of your claims, unless there is a good reason. Most of the time, this is not necessary. This, from what I understand, is done in a small percentage of applications.

Also, my understanding is that it is done in circumstance that involve employers who otherwise dont have official letterhead, presence online and/or significant reputation (major company vs small local shop). Even then, the VO would make the judgment call on whether to further investigate by calling the employer.

So, we cant really give you an estimate, as no one knows! But, I wouldnt worry too much. As lpc19800 said, it is unlikely that your employer would be getting a call. My way of dealing with this particular dilemma was by including a contact info for HR person and by forwarding a copy of my reference letter for their records (if not issued by them in the first place). Its a safe bet that if the new supervisor is not able to comment on your duties, the logical choice would be to talk to HR, as they have personnel records on JD, performance and so forth.

I say again though, its unlikely that this is something you should be concerned with!!
