@Hegarty - Any updates on your BOWP?
Call CIC and they should be able to tell you the correct information.
Information on MyCIC does not get updated all the time.

For what it's worth, I applied for a bowp on Feb. 28 and my application has yet to be touched. Crazy processing times indeed!

Anyone applying for BOWP for you and your spouse? I got an initial fee of $410 2x $155 for the bridging visas and 1x $100 "privilege fee".

I sent in my application on the 24th and they requested proof of payment of the $100 fee on my spouses application (I wasn't asked for it)

I uploaded a word document to mycic online and explained what I payed and asked if this was ok and if I needed to pay an extra $100 how to do so, then I called the office and was told I needed to pay the $100 fee so I did, but now I can't upload the receipt because of the word document I already uploaded...... (stupid I know) so.... I called back and an agent said I should start the process again as he didn't know if it would be rejected? Surely they will just open my online file again and request the receipt after telling me how to pay it??

Yeah he said I should start a new application in case it was rejected as he didn't know what would happen? That can't be right?

Although the question was not for me, but the answer is Yes. You can apply multiple times. Even in my case, although my BOWP is approved,my existing employer is filing an closed WP extension.

I got sent a link and followed through the steps to pay the extra $100, so I now have the receipt but I cannot upload it online to mycic!

You mean to say that CIC has sent you a link to pay that $100 fees?
