RECENT BOWP APPROVALS - Timeline

I applied on Feb 27th. I called CIC call center and was told that my application is "IN PROGRESS".
I am not sure what that means.

Does it mean that CIC has started working in the application
or
does it mean that it's still waiting to be picked up by CIC and nothing has been done on the application yet.

It says what it says. CIC is working on your application. Don't worry, your application didn't cross current WP processing time yet (62 days). You will get your BOWP soon.

The thing is: I don't see the status changed to "In Progress" in MyCIC account. I was just told by the Call Center agent.

It's normal. When I my BOWP was approved, the status changed directly from "Not Started" to "Approved".

Also, did your application status changed to "In Progress" before changing to approved.

Great news ...i applied February 24th ...just rang cic and they said its still not approved
