RECENT BOWP APPROVALS - Timeline

hi seniors in the house,

i want to submit my BOWP application this week and really need your help.i just finish my eligibility assessment now and below the documents needed to be upload.

Supporting Documents

Marriage License/Certificate (required) Instructions


Itinerary, Travel (required) Instructions


Proof of Medical Exam (required) Instructions

Passport or travel document (required) Instructions


Digital Photo (required) Instructions


i just want to ask if the above documents are the ones needed by CIC.

Yea, when I logged in status said 'updated' so then went on to check messages for the application. The part that says status 'open' now said 'closed' and decision made 'not started' was changed to 'approved'.

Im hoping its just a minor delay and that mine will look the same as yours tomorrow. currently it still says 'open' and 'not started'
I wonder if anyone else has had this happen?

Hi Forum members,
I received my BOWP yesterday. I applied on Jan 16 (Paper application). But I submitted my wife's SOWP application along with mine, she didn't receive it yet.

Any body who has applied for BOWP after 21 Feb along with SOWP?

I have applied for my BOWP and my wife's visitor permit extension on Feb 27th. There has been no updates/news so far.
Even CIC seems to have forgotten to update the processing times. They had last updated it on Apr 3rd.
The contact center is of no help. The just repeat what's on the website. Even though we have people who have applied in Feb and have received their work permit, the contact center still says that CIC is working on Jan 31st applications.
