Hi, before I thought that Police check was mandatory to submit with the application, so I made one recently. the processing time is 7 days it will be sent to you by mail. It may be different from province to other but usually It's through any police station, just in some police stations they are asking for money order as method of payment, thing I didn't do since they have a second option of paying by debit card in police information check location. It cost $50
