Received letter to pay RPRF, do we send her passport too?

Hi all,
We received a letter to pay the RPRF. on the bottom of the letter it said in bold letters" Please do not submit your passport until your sponsor has paid the RPRF in Canada"... Ok so i paid the RPRF online.

My question is, Should my wife send her passport to Singapore. or are we to wait for another letter from them to ask for it?

You can send now the passport,
just make sure to send a copy of the letter that you received,
also a cover letter explaining that RPRF has been paid, and
a copy of proof of payment., and also that as a RPRF has been
paid you are sending the passport as indicated in the attached
letter.

How long will it take for them to keep the passport? reaso I'm asking is because we have a trip to Hong Kong planned in august to take our daughter to disneyland there...

The time changes between applicants,
but you can hope that your application will be finalized by then,
If its not any change you always can request your passport,
and explain that it will be needed. It should not be a problem to
retrieve the passport and send it back when not needed anymore.

but the best thing is to send it now and hope that everything will be finalized soon.

Hi, can you update your progress now??
Because i'm in the same case like you, and i already sent my pasport to cic Singapore.
How long cic singapore finalized it? Have you got your pasport back? Did you still get the PPR?
And what about the photographs?
