@davidlee that is incorrect. CIC clearly states full time work experience or equivalent part time work experience

CIC never said that part time experiences would be considered as part of CEC application.

Thanks jsm!

Wow, some pretty broad powers given to supporting roles...like that of the 'program support officer.' I always pictured them as persons who review completness of application package, versus decision makers who review eligibility. Something new every day, I guess...

Designated authority - Be satisfied whether the foreign national making an application to remain in Canada as a permanent resident, including those who have been conferred refugee protection in Canada, meet the requirements of the Act and Regulations to become a permanent resident;

CIC Domestic Regions:

C&I Case Processing Agent
C&I Officer

Centralized Processing Region:
C&I Case Processing Agent
Service Delivery Specialist Strategic Analysis Officer
Program Support Officer

No no...u misunderstood. I wasnt rejected! I was referring to the document you supplied and I read. Where it states that Program Support Officers have decision making abilities. Just sayin that I was surprised, since I thought that they only check the completeness of the application.

My bad if you were talkin about whymee though...

Sorry I meant whyme. When I use the iphone I get confused!

So CPC Syndey are dealing with some CIC processing and program support officers are working on it. I guess this is part of the just in time immigration system changes!

What do you mean?

Recent immigration reforms aim to make the process quicker and more centred around the needs of Canada.

Completeness checks were supposed to be done at Sydney then the applications were supposed to be sent to CPP-O for processing.

Based on this rejection, it's obvious that some applications are having more than completeness checks done in Sydney.
