No, 1st one (in email) never came, so I did request 2nd one (email again, paper based can take 5-10 business days), still not showing. And I've been told by CIC call centre agent that preparing 2nd Decision letter can take up to 4 weeks (Yes, you didn't read wrong), and suggested me do not call them back before August 11th. My PNP expires beginning of Sep, and I don't need to depress anyone, I need action!

I decided to re-create me a new profile instead of waiting, and by doing this unveiled those mistakes.

Uncle Smile,

Any news about your refusal letter?

Was your new profile picked up in the last draw?

Wishing you all the best!!

So My PR application was refused last week due to the outdated FBI clearance.

The lenght of time to get a FBI BC was 12-14week longer than the time the CIC gave to submit all paperwork but I was told my old one could be sumbitted with proof that another one was requested and this was noted.

I am actually working with a lawyer and this message was received from the CIC one day after I sent them the new certificate and they said they have contacted CIC and have reported this to them. I am currently waiting for Sydney to re-open your PR application so I can submit your new FBI certificate.
They were given that notice on the submission letter. However, they did not appropriate the changes to reflect our request. Taking into consideration that this was brought to their attention earlier, it is very likely they will re-open your application. When I spoke to the agent he said it is possible and did not indicate that it would be problematic at all.

So now its wait and see again, this is very discouraging. :'(

Steph,

I'm really sorry about that. I think you have a good chance to get your file reopened because you have explained everything previously.

Please keep us all informed on the status of your application and best of luck!

I am sorry for this situation! I submitted a LOE with proof of requesting the FBI PC and submitted it via CSE two weeks ago. Cases like this discourage me just a little as I now feel like they don't bother reading your LOE at all, as soon as they find something's missing they just refuse it. And also their inconsistency!!! Some VO's have requested the missing document instead of refusing the app altogether.

I have not heard anything back from CIC after submitting my CSE... I am so nervous to see if they will even look at it!

I take you are applying from outside Canada and your visa office is Sidney? Do you mind sharing your timeline?

Best of lucks!

Hello Guys,

Will appreciate your responses.

What if on you Work Reference letter, your Annual salary and hours of work per week are not mentioned, and to cover this, you attach last 3 copies of your pay stub which clearly shows these.

Will this be accepted?

Thanks in advance.

Pretty much, yes. Not every1 gets this in their letter and support it with pay stubs and employment letter so don worry... You are among the majority.

Thanks Jkal for the response.

One other question.

Suppose you old passport which shows your previous travels is no longer with you; in my country your old passport is collected from you when you apply for a new one.

And you new passport is totally blank.

I read threads here where it seems one has to upload the pages that show visa stamps and other travels; else application is rejected.

What does one do in this case??

Explain this in the letter of explanation. Mention that your country of nationality retains your old passports and therefore you are unable to provide copies of visa stamps and markings. Don't worry about it because it seems to be that they care mostly about the bio page according to this:

Hello this is a very scary form, when you are not receiving fast updates.....

I have a question, my application is in "received " status since the end of June, and I've submitted it on 25th April as CEC.
I've noticed yesterday one thing that I might done in not a perfect way.
I've submitted the application with the description of my current job and the one that I'm taking in future,as job offering. For this job offering we haven't done an LMIA and I haven't got any points for it. In this letter that I've included in the package I saw yesterday that there is a typo error in the code. I've submitted all the document with NOC 0601, but in the letter there is 601 only.
do you think I need to submit a CSE?

I imagine that is just fine. Try and not let the forum scare you too much! Take a break from here for a while. :)

I apologize if this question has been answered before or too obvious ...

I am wondering if the application is refused, can one create another EE profile and enter the candidate pool? will the eligibility show "not eligible" due to previous rejection?

Thanks!

Not at all. You can create another profile right away.
