How long did cic took ? I think you should ask cic to reopen your previous application.

Hi guys..

I should read this thread earlier...

I submit my application for PR (SINP) on June 6.

But I did not upload the ECA report >:(. ( I thought CIC will match the info base on the WES profile I provide, so what I uploaded were the notary version of my diplomas and degrees )

Now I know many people are rejected for not providing ECA report...

Can anyone provide some advice? Can I send an email containing ECA report to try to rescue the application?

You might be surprised to hear that people who do not submit their degree certificate are rejected (and not the people who have not submitted their ECA report). However, generally, only when the documents is not in English or French, the documents needs to be translated and notarized and both the original and notarized versions needs to be uploaded.

You might want to raise a CSE and send in original copies of degree certificates/mark sheets.

Anyone here who got rejected due to wrong NOC and successfully transferred old nomination to new EE profile and got PR approved second time with updated reference letter. What is standard procedure to apply once you get rejected? CSE with updated documents and LOE or New profile ??(with nomination transfer if applicable)

Hi,

I submitted my application on June 4 along with employment reference letters.
Now going through this thread on the reasons of rejections, getting worried about my reference letters.
Could anyone suggest if the below duties/responsibilities match with NOC 2174 as I stated:

• Worked as software developer in XXXX Software Tool
• Developing and modifying new/existing XXXX Software code
• Involved in all aspects of project including Business Requirements gathering, Analysis and Design, development, deployment and support.
• Worked as a team member in a team of 10 resources
• Imparted XXXX training to new joinees in the team.
• Monitoring daily jobs, analysing errors and resolving the failures.
• Preparing unit test plans and executing unit test cases.
• Analysing the test runs and data for successful implementation of developed XXXX Code

2174 duties include the below:
• Write, modify, integrate and test software code
• Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required
• Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions
• Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements
• Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications
• May lead and co-ordinate teams of computer programmers
• May research and evaluate a variety of software products.

Any insights will be highly appreciated!

Regards,
Aditya

Hi everyone,

I have another query (I may be overthinking or being paranoid).
I just noticed the scan copy of my spouse's PCC I provided. It actually shows the image which is not of good quality and has a couple white spots (illumination during scanning). Rest of the document and wording is very clear and of good quality.

Is there any point sending the scan copy again via CSE just for the image on PCC?

Regards,
Aditya

Nope.
If they need a clear copy they will ask for it.
As you have already submitted don't resubmit, it will delay processing time.

Hi guys. New to this forum.

Question regarding the Proof of Funds:

Already received ITA. It's URGENT as few days left to deadline, would be great if you could help.

Have been unemployed for a while and supported by parents during that time. I have sufficient funds now and past 6 months as well as the bank statement showing this. I own all the money and parents will support me throughout Canada immigration.

Do I need to go to details about the parent support or is bank statement alone sufficient for CIC?

Thanks.

no reason to go into personal details as long as your own funds in the bank shown by the statement is equal to or above LICO threshold (depending on the number of dependants in your application)

The bank letter or 6 months bank statements is good enough if it's solely in your name, the current balance is above the LICO, and there is average 6-month balance is not significantly different from the current balance, which may indicate borrowed funds.

Hi Gurus,

I have submitted my PR application under FSW inland category. Plus, I have valid and Positive LMIA as well.
But, the time of submitting documents I did not upload my previous and current employer job offer letter and exprience letter.
My current employer is the same one who helpred me to get LMIA.

Will it be an issue ?
Please advise ??

Hi,

I consulted NOC team to suggest me NOC for my 4 jobs.
I had mentioned 2174 for all these in my application to CIC, while NOC team suggested that 2172 'may be more appropriate' for job1 while 2174 is more appropriate for JOB2, Job3 and Job4.

In all of my reference letters, I have mentioned the role as Software Developer (2174).
And most of the duties in all 4 jobs match closely to each other.

Job1 is my current job and I provided notarised reference letters signed from my colleagues with official documents. There were a couple of additional duties in this reference letter compared to those from previous jobs.

When they say that my job1 reference letter match more closely to 2172, does it means it doesn't match to 2174 and may be rejected by CIC?
In that case should I go for the CSE option to send new notarized reference letters for this job?

Regards,
Aditya
