Yes, that's an issue, IMO. You should have given the ECA number exactly as mentioned on the report. You can edit your profile and re-transmit. Good luck!

Won't be a problem as you have uploaded the actual ECA report.

Just checked mine, mine has this on the upper right corner: ECA#: *******IMM (* indicates 7 digits). This cool?

Yes. The IMM indicates that it was done for immigration purposes, which is what is needed.

My eca report by wes contains only
Reference number, the pattern is below
Reference#:1234567/abc
Above is exact pattern
And on first page in the bottom there is bar codes with digits showing inthe bottom of bar codes.
"Citizenship and immigration canada-FSWP"
Above wording is also mentioned on first page

On IMM word showing, only in the bottom " citizenship and immigration canada-FSWP " is mentioned above the bar code( only on first page), there are three pages for my eca first page with just details and one paragraph, second for bachelors, third for masters.

Probably because yours is an older format issued last year. As advises elsewhere, send a note to WES and get the revised report with 'IMM" suffix.

On the second or third page, check the right top corner. Check if you see ECA# with IMM suffixed.

Sent a request for duplicate online copy, it costs me 33$ But someone told me,it will be available within 1 bussiness day in new format and with IMM.
Also heading of eca reports changed in new format.
So its better to get new one.

I filled in my father's date of birth wrongly on my PR application form; 28/04/1954, but his correct date of birth is 28/03/1954. Now an filling out a Schedule A and I realize my mistake what should I do?

My heart skipped a beat reading this!!! Have there been rejections based on the WES ECA Number?
My ECA report was done last year and it does not contain IMM, just ends with 2 letters.
Moreover, it is valid for 5 years and was done specifically for Immigration purpose. Its been a month since we submitted our application. Hope all goes well. :-[

Do not worry. Many have gotten their PPRs while submitting the code from WES that has 2 letters (2014 report format).

Was just browsing and thank God I found this thread. My ECA report was issued last year as well with 123456/abc format. I'm going to request the latest format to be sure.

By the way I'm not sure if it's already been posted here but if not yet let's update this document to enumerate the reasons for rejection without the discussion around it.

If you still have not submitted your PR application go ahead and request a new format. However, CIC have issued a lot of PR's for people who had their ECA report # as: 123456/abc
